What is polyester?
Polyester is a polymer plastic which is mainly used in combination with glass fiber mats and polyester resin. This is called fibre-reinforced polyester, but is also often simply "polyester." Fiber ensures a firm connection between the plastic and the resin. The polyester resin protected the fibres against environmental influences and makes the structure hard and strong. It has a large number of advantages to t.o.v. other materials. It is nice and smooth, feels nice and can take a beating.
